Nita Ragle was born and raised in Fort Worth. She has worked in the medical field since the age of 18 years old as a medical receptionist at a clinic in Lake Worth, Texas. While employed at this clinic, she also attended the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, Texas full-time. She graduated from UNT with a double degree in Biology and Kinesiology.
After graduating from UNT, Nita was accepted into the Physician Assistant program at The University Of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She graduated from UTMB in 2001 with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Her first PA position was back at the clinic she had worked at before going to PA school.
Nita has 24 years experience working as a physician associate. All 24 years have been in general practice, with 18 of those years serving the homeless, indigent or medically underserved population.
In her spare time, Nita enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and theater productions and watching different TV programs. But her favorite activity is just relaxing at home with a good book or watching a true crime documentary while snuggling up with her dogs.
